The weather looks Autumnal, and its behaviour seems to be a lot more vigorous. Saturday was a lovely day and Sunday was a day of WET and it was about gale force when I left the mooring. There was a lull and quiet early this Monday morning and then late morning the wind freshened and the rain intensified. Tuesday looks wet and windy throughout. I got a few jobs done aboard and checked the mooring connection as this whole week is going to be a mix of weather, even through to the weekend when I may have to cancel an ICC examination. Friday looks about force 11 and the North pier pontoons will be closed according to the harbour staff. Aquila will soon be ashore for the winter on the cradle all secure.
