For me the experience of sussing the weather and moving around with safety under sail in those wind-strengths was amazing. This was all down to your competence,amazing appraisal of options and the high quality of teaching and method. The boat gave out the same calm strength and confidence - not surprising, since you built her. There seemed so many examples of detailed design in the fittings and gear which were born of much experience. There are many other things I could mention,..apple crumble, gingerbread, ground coffee and the other excellent victualling.
