Why Aquila?

Certainly a few people ask about the name. It was chosen by my daughter as a short name she thought would be good.

It comes from the fact that all plants and animals have a Latin name and so Aquila is the group name for a fair number of eagles.

We have two eagles in the U.K. the white tailed sea eagle and the golden eagle (Aquila Chrysaetos). The later is by far the better more agile flier of the two.
